My barred rock's eggs vary quite a bit in shade, and sometimes are speckled, sometimes not. Maybe she just likes variety!

Still have one Leghorn that's not laying, but she's finally getting redder in the face so I hope she will lay soon!

Our first egg from Buff Orpington 22 weeks old. Now I am waiting on her other sisters to start laying. One egg a day doesn't last long with 8 people in the house.
