First one from Omelet the EE. 24 weeks old. I have another that hasn't laid yet and is not squatting. Omelet has been squatting for 2 weeks.

First egg! And we just got 5 of the girls yesterday (1 and our duck the day before)! I'm not sure who laid it, but, from the color, I'm guessing it was either our Jersey Giant or one of our two Barred Rocks. Way to go, girls! Only problem is, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO POST PIX HERE.

OH MY GOSH! I have been waiting SO long to post on this thread! FINALLY I have a first egg picture to share with you all. It is tiny and adorable, and of course, not in the nest box where it ought to be, but here it is!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heres my first eggs. i started getting the smaller ones from my white silkie about a month ago but FINALLY got one from another chicken and they are awesome!!
