So excited to join this thread! Our little Black Sex-Link, Amy Farrah Fowler, left us a gift in the nest box this morning. She just turned 20 weeks yesterday. Her roommates, Penny and Bernadette, hopefully will soon follow her lead.

She had been squatting for the past couple of weeks, and seemed extra fussy over the last couple of days - more vocal, and wanting to be closer to me than usual. And her comb and wattles have been bright red for a couple of weeks as well. So proud of her! It's a perfect little egg. I'd say size medium.

Thank you. I'd been sort of expecting a tiny egg, or one that was funny shaped or mushy, but she laid that first one like a pro.

I noticed, too - that Amy had been eating the crunched up eggshells I'd been leaving out for them. The other two ignore them, but Amy started eating them three days ago.
