Got my first egg yesterday, they were so noisy, then when I came home I found the suprise! I just finished building their new run yesterday too! It's a little small but I'm hoping they'll get bigger the more they lay!

Well my pullets hatched on Cinco de Mayo 2014 have started laying eggs now! The three eggs on top are the first eggs from my pullets, the other 3 are from my Red Star, project EE, and White Leghorn hen(who is the genetic mother).




They are a distant cross of Ameraucana over pure white leghorn hen. They started laying a day before week 19, which is earlier even than my White Leghorn hen started laying.
