Yep, most BRs lay some shade of brown. If it's more white tinted, then it's probably the Polish's egg.

We just found our first two eggs a few hours ago. We think one might be from our Barred Rock, "Lulu" who is looking at them intently from her coop! She was pacing in and out of the hen house yesterday and she has been talking up a storm this week, along with one of our Buff Orpingtons. It is very exciting to get our first eggs, from our first batch of chickens!! They have been so much fun for our family.

My first egg! My chickens get to eat more of the okra and yellow tomatoes out of
my garden than I do. I have managed to get some canned.

This is from either the BR or bantum polish (she was sitting on it).

My money would be on the BR. That is a large egg for a bantam, let alone a pullet bantam! Our barred rocks tended to lay light brown eggs too.
