I actually got my first eggs back in October. I have those pics on a different computer. Here is a picture identical to the other pics. I get 10~11 eggs a day from 15 hens now! Looks like Easter eggs!

We got an egg! It's from Esther, our cochin. The larger egg is from the grocery store. I guess Esther is a bantam?

My first egg from either Millie or Tillie, two wonderful, sweet, beautiful barred rocks. Sept. 2007. I was so thrilled, i actually kissed it, blew it out, and saved it, forever displayed on my kitchen window sill!!

First egg from one of my pullets... I think it was one of the sex links... Also had one without a shell. It was in poo and I wasn't too keen on the idea of taking a pic of a shell-less busted egg in chicken poo...

Well after four days of the ladies being here I found this today. Hopefully the others will follow

They did it!!!

Both on the same day. I have three ladies and two laid their first eggs today!!!

The two on the plate are them. The one off it is a store bought large egg!!! Pretty good for the first ones!!!
