I thought these were the 1st eggs from my Silkies but maybe someone else can tell me? I also have Golden Comets, Rhode Island,Langshan(not sure on the spelling) and Leghorn

This is my daughter's cuckoo maran, Midnight. She is about 19.5 weeks, & she laid her 1st egg yesterday.

I was out of town over night, so I found it this morning.

To my surprise, she gave me another one today! Such a good girl!

Our Black Sex Link, Wonder Woman, laid her first egg today! She's about 20 1/2 weeks old. Here's the egg the way I found it in the brooder box, complete with a faint amount of blood.



Here is Wonder Woman, enjoying some cateloupe after laying her egg. Chief Dan George, our Ameraucana, is our resident photo bomb chicken. ^_^

Another one of my golden comets Boss, laid her first egg today, at nineteen weeks. Eleven and ten days after Weezee and Brokentoe. At 45 grams the largest first egg of the 3. Brokentoe laid her first medium sized egg at 50 grams today.
A happy camper here Only 2 freeloaders left. Her egg is on th right.

I have one I named Miss Bossy cuz she is so aggressive. She likes to peck me and this is only my second time with chickens. Is aggrssive normal for them?
