My first eggs ever! came home after 48 hours away and found them on the coop floor! I believe from my Australorp, she's 19 weeks old.

First egg from my Cuckoo Maran, Tabatha. She is 21 weeks old

Her first egg is the small one on the left. It is not as dark as I was hoping but it is darker then the gold star egg on the right.

And here they are in our shipping crate-turned mobile run before we put a finer mesh wire along the bottom.

The Welsie with the messed up feathers survived a raccoon attack and heavy feather loss.

Yea! Our first egg. We have 4 girls, 22 weeks old. One of the ladies pushed the golf ball right out of the box and replaced it with a perfect little egg. Sooooo excited!! Going to try to figure out which one it was tomorrow!

This is my very 1st egg!!!

We have 7 hens. We don't know what breed they are. Shortly after buying them from our local flea market our weather got really cold. 1 hen became very sick. She was separated and is doing very well now. This is her very 1st egg. Unfortunately we can't put her back in with the rest of the flock. We have tried several times and she always ends up bleeding. BUT, at least she is healthy and happy and she is laying eggs I guess that's all that matters.

Pretty!
