these are our first eggs. Our EE finally laid her first. It's the green one in the middle. A little odd shaped. I'm so excited.

So excited! After two weeks of waiting one of our Golden Comets had her first egg yesterday!! Can't wait to see what we get today!!!

So we got our first egg 2 weeks ago from an ee. She laid 2 days in a row. And nothing since. Is that normal?

My first two eggs ever! One yesterday and one today...I dont know for sure who laid them, or if it was two different girls. I have one blue and one black copper marans that just turned 18 weeks today. (I have others but they are even younger) What do you think?

Pretty eggs. I'd say the BCM laid the one on left and the blue laid the one on right!

I was like a kid at Christmas when the 2 first eggs came from our 2 chickens...we also have 1 Bantam rooster named Clyde..hens names are Thelma and Louise...I just wanted someone to tell me what is wrong with this egg I just got the other day...looks like a dinosaur egg...it's 3 inches long and 2 wide and is thick with lines on it!!???? Thanks!
