Here is my first egg that I found last night!!!

My 6 girls were 18 weeks to the day... I wonder who laid it tho? One of the New Hampshire's or one of the Silver Laced Wyandotte's? They wouldn't tell me yesterday.

Our girls started laying while we were on vacation, the tan ones are from our RSL, and we think the speckled one is from our Barred Rock, but she hasn't laid anymore in the last two days so we aren't sure. So exciting!

hmmm, do you have a Rooster? I've had my share of weird eggs, but don't know what a fertilized one would look like as I don't have Roosters...

Got my first egg today. It's from a 17.5 week old RSL. Either Cherry or Annabelle. The picture is in comparison to a large Kroger egg It was plopped out in the run on a pile of muddy composed leaves

That's funny! I had a few that were laid in the middle of the dirt walkway...LOL...like they just don't make it back to the nest in time...LOL
