Our first jumbo from our 18 week pullets. I am guessing it is a tripple yolk, we got a lot of double yolks. Guess I'll find out when we have eggs next

Jumbo weighed 2.7 ounces and the medium egg weighed 1.5 ounces. what a difference!

Found 3 eggs today which means another pullet started laying! My first pullet (Commercial Black...BR cross) started laying July 23rd, and has laid an egg for me every day. Pullet 2 started laying 3 days later on the 26th. She's laid every day but 1. This new pullet popped out a bigger egg than the two who've been laying for a week

wow....maybe the new egg is a double yolk???? All the colors are beautiful, I love the dark color of the right egg

Nope, wasn't a double yolk...just a really big single yolk!

either one of our RSL's or our Speckeled Sussex. but our second jumbo weighed in at 2.5 and was from our RSL

Here's our first....well, first five. Our RReds and barred rocks are only 17 wks so I was shocked to find them. Must be more than one laying since I checked yesterday and saw nothing. Isn't this early??

Our red sex links started at 16 weeks, our Leghorns started at 18 weeks. Every chicken is deffierent Both will be 19 weeks on Monday and are laying everyday.
