First little Silkie egg!!! Our Ameraucanas have been laying about 4 weeks and our Buff Orphington for 2 weeks, we're excited for the Silkie to join!

finally!!!!! got my chickens memorial day and the rooster has been breeding them for 2 weeks now. The golf ball I had in the nest was moved out and a little brown egg was in there in its place.

Just registerd to post MY VERY FIRST EGG! Yay! Not that I laid it (obviously :-D ), it's just that I bought 6 adult silkies and 1 silkie/cochin only a few weeks ago. So it is not Selinas first egg, but it is a first time for me. It's the cutest egg ever!
