MY first eggs!

After 26 weeks, Blanche, my EE finally blessed us with an egg last week. Of course I was on business in Holland, and missed it, after alllll that waiting.

Well, today, Rose, the BO joined in, and while I was taking this photo, Blanche gave us number 4!

To all the discouraged folks waiting for the first egg, just go away for a few days. It will happen.

Now I have to do something about that egg song! SHHHHHHHHH!

First egg layed by Mr Nice Man ( yeah I know, the name is another story).

My wife's birthday is today so I guess you could say she was honored with a gift.

This is Mr Nice Man with my Grand Daughter Breanna. Mr Nice Man is her favorite chicken.

Yay! Our first egg from our rhode island reds! I put it next to an extra large store bought for comparison. They are six months old today!

Yippee! PTL! My EE laid her first egg Today. We got 3 EE's in early May and live in the SF bay area. I have enjoyed reading this blog for a while but did not want to post another how come my girls don't lay eggs post. Just be patient seems to work. Peace, Larry
