Post your flock block recipies!

Hey all! I'd love to see what other folks put into their flock blocks. Here's my recipe:
Fill a large cooking bowl halfway with birdseed
Add a few cups of oats
Add a bunch of dried mealworms
Add three eggs
Add a few tablespoons of peanut butter
Add some oyster shell/crushed up egg shells
Mix it all up with your hands! (It's pretty fun!)
Bake at 350 for an hour or until hard.

What goes into your block?

I use whatever I've got on hand which is usually
some scratch grains
regular ol' flock crumbles
thawed frozen corn
raisins
rolled oats
And a little melted peanut butter and coconut oil.
I spoon it into a muffin tins (because my chickens don't know how to share one block and then I throw it in the freezer for a half hour. The coconut oil solidifies and really holds it together well, especially now that it's so cold outside.

I've never tried freezing it, or the muffin pans. Both very good ideas.

Ooohh! Almost forgot! I also add some applesauce, to make it smell better so I can torture the rest of the fam by making them think I'm baking something yummy for them

I've heard some people add in peas, BOSS, ground flax, hemp seeds, chia seeds, raisins, dried cranberries, dried blueberries, a small hand full of chopped unsalted nuts. I might even toss in some chopped broccoli and alfalfa pellets.

I've never made a flock block....and I'm ashamed to say I've never even given one to my girls. I think I should attempt one this weekend! Thanks for making this thread Ruby

feather fixer pellets
scratch grains
Whole oats
Mealworms
Dried Cranberries & Raisins
Unsalted shelled sunflower seeds
Flax seeds
Eggs
Liquid coconut oil
Blackstrap molasses
Cinnamon

Baked 30-45 minutes

Tried in both cake pans and muffin tins.
I think I liked the way the muffin sized ones turned out, better for a small flock imo.

Also they seem to like it if I break it into a few chunks for them and toss them about.

*what the chickens leave behind the dog gobbles up.
Eh-hemmm....I've seen evidence.

My dog isn't interested in the chickens food....just their poop.
