Post Your Game Cam Pics Here!!!

It looks like the light is from another camera. There was a fox but that's another camera on a post for another angle. It looks like someone may be shining a light but that's the way it looks from another camera.

I wish I had downloaded pictures from this camera sooner. Apparently, we had a trespasser in the middle of the night last month, possibly spotlighting deer. They had to be way up on our property, inside the fence from the angle of that light and the way the buck is looking toward the source of it. If you see the time stamp with the 6 pt buck, you see total darkness, then suddenly, a spotlight and if you go from the first to the second one quickly, you can tell that the buck startled, hunched down, then he's gone, obviously sprinted away. But there are no solar lights out there and it's not near a road or anyone's home so they had to be on my land to shine that light that way. This calls for more lighting back there and some signage. Check the time stamps. The last one in the series of three is 37 seconds past when the big buck startled. Lately we've had two bucks, this one and the younger one you see in other pictures, hanging around a lot. That area is right behind the barn pen so they're sticking pretty close to the house lately, probably grew up on this property.

This is obviously the younger guy.

Since he was back night before last, he got away safely. I hope he stays safe (until and unless we need him, that is).

Not sure what type of camera you have, but we have a wireless camera that will send pictures straight to your phone. I think it’s called SpyPoint. Might be worth looking into to see if/when trespassers are coming onto your land.

Oh, hang around? It has a den right down the hill from our yard. 😭 My dog found the den, now we’re trying to figure out how to get rid of it. There’s 2 foxes from what we’ve seen on our camera.
I have used leg traps and live traps. I'm not on my computer right now for pictures. I would suggest a live trap so if you get an incidental catch you can release. I baited my traps for a few days and let the fox take the bait then set the traps and caught the fox. I did eliminate them and have seen others on my game cameras since. Good luck...

I don't carry a cellphone so that wouldn't work for me, unfortunately. Maybe if it could send it to my computer. I use a desktop. But, I just ordered two more game cameras, 4 motion activated solar lights and two signs to cover more area. If my husband would allow us to have a dog again it would be nice, but we'd have to shore up a lot of fencing to keep in a dog the size we would want. The deer keep bending it over, including the steel posts. I found my perimeter fence was smushed down and not by a deer so someone climbed over that.

I got two new game cameras, one is this Apeman brand (stupid name) and was just $47 and at the time, had an extra $10 off so $37. Now, it's $47.99 and $12 off. I had my doubts, but it does very well. The camera is simple to use, the screen is small, but so is the camera and it's amazing there even is a screen with the compact size of this unit. It took a bunch of pics, but somehow, I had triggered the video feature and got a bunch of those as well so I included a couple at the bottom of the pics. There is a solar motion activated light on that tree which helps at night. If it takes a pic at dawn when it's still dark-ish and the light doesn't trigger, the pics can be a tad grainy, but dark or full light and they're really good for what this camera is. It's super easy to use and only takes 4 AA batteries. Can't really beat that. Even came with a memory card, wow.
The company offered a free gift with a review, a card reader or an SD card so I gave the camera a 4-star review, mostly because the batteries are just there, no cover on them in when you open it so they'd be more vulnerable to moisture, in my opinion. When I sent the review link to get my free gift, they contacted me and insisted that I change it to five stars for the free gift. I refused, saying I won't be bullied by some Chinese company into giving a dishonest review. I'm tempted to lower the review just for that, but the camera is a decent one for the money. So no free gift for moi, boo hoo. I hate being bullied, though I know that's how they do business. Lots of fake reviews on these sites.

Pics I took with it for your review of the camera. Sorry, all deer and a bunny. I deleted the possum and most of the pictures. Just a sampling in case anyone is interested in seeing the pictures this takes. I also bought a Victure
brand regular size camera for $42, but haven't downloaded anything yet. It feels super duper cheap plastic, very lightweight, so will report that later.
