We call her gimpy. Most of the deer around here have a lot of white, but some have actual spots, with an occasional albino. They never last long.

Piebald deer are almost always the result of inbreeding, and these individuals often have other defects. Especially involving the skeleton. In an ironic twist, in some places shooting predominantly white deer is (or was) against the law, but the reality is these deer should be removed from the gene pool.

One time, a rabbit ran into the road. So we slowed down the car, and it charged AT us! So then it made us follow it down the road, and then it attempted to charge us again. We went down about a mile, following this rabbit.

I think being piebald is the least of her worries, she has THREE LEGS. Born that way.

Moved my game cam today.. Wasn't getting any pics where it was. Found a Maple tree that is falling over and the deer are eating the Maple leaves.. So I moved the cam to near the falling tree.. Maybe tomorrow I will have some pics to share. I hope!!!!

Oh yeah, are there any pics of the three legged piebald deer? I didn't see it but maybe I just missed the pic.
