Post Your Game Cam Pics Here!!!

you're right about the netting. I've had chickens out here for three summers, this year is the first year I've had problems. I had a fox earlier in the year take a couple. I was able to catch her in a trap. But I've seen others on the trail cam. I have a few dogs that come thru the property. So between the fox and dogs, no more free ranging for the ladies. But they have a very large run, that I open up into a fenced garden after harvest, so they have plenty of space. I just know they're happier when they can chase grasshoppers though the grass.

I went back down to the coop this morning and removed my dead chicken before I let the girls out, but the temp is 2 above, so they won't go out much today. As you can see the owl was back. Also had a dog or coyote outside the fence, but picture quality was horrible.

If I was you, I would be making the coop and run predator proof, so the Owls, hawks, foxes, and dogs cannot get to the chickens. seems like your losing quite a few lately,
good luck

i finally caught the fox on camera.. i kept seeing fox prints in the snow.. the time makes me uncomfortable, as there are only 2 days a week when i have to leave the house by 6 a.m. and open the coop door then.. the fox doesn't seem too interested in the coop and i try to make sure no food is left outside to attract them..

Yeah, that's close and a lot of sightings. And it won't be long before they have kits, too. They'll come out at all times of day to feed those.
true.. and this deer cam is right beside my house.. yeah, the coop is CLOSE.. so the fox isn't scared of the house and such.. not sure how else to deter them.. i've heard of a night flash thing for wild animals.. now sure how well it works.. might have to do some research.. keeping my 9 hens safe is IMPORTANT to me..
