Lots of bear pics this week. Found out we have a mother and older cub. First time we caught 2 bears in one pic. Also bobcat and lots of raccoons, but surprisingly no coyotes!

Is that bear tagged...a troublemaker?
Being youngster, I would doubt it was tagged for causing problems. We live in the county, and bears can't really get into official trouble. They get trouble tagged if the go into the suburbs or cities. A young bear won't normally wander that far. The DEP tags young bears to track their movements.
I saw raccoons on my game camera for only the second time in many years and the first time, it was only one. Obviously, they live here along with everything else that prowls at night, but these have been here for two nights in a row near my chicken barn. All birds are 100% safe in their respective coops at night, but I'm not thrilled with seeing these hanging around so much. Makes me want to grease that tree they like to use, LOL. Wheeeeee! If only that would work, eh? And crows trigger this camera a lot as well.

Some traps might be appropriate, nip the juvenile population in the bud.
Trash pandas! Ugh.
No hotwire, just a white coated wire so the deer will stop running into the fence and bending it over. Thought they could see the white better.
