Post Your Game Cam Pics Here!!!

For awhile I was only seeing coyotes. Just lately I have been seeing the fox. :) You know I love to take pictures of the predators lurking here. I think I lost a bird last night to an owl. I found a hole in the netting over one of the pens this morning and I heard an owl in a tree next to the house last night. I don't know how the hole got in the netting because I just recently checked all the netting and fixed the breeches. The body was headless inside the pen. I put another piece of netting up in that section. I did see a fox near that coop on a camera last night but the only breach I found was in the netting. I'm going to buy some new netting and replace that. My pens are 200' x 60' My original netting is 200' x 50' so i was short 200' x 10'. I found some netting that was 150' x 14' that I bought for that space. It wasn't what I thought it was and isn't as good as the other netting. I used it but now I'm going to replace it with some better netting. It's hard to find any netting that is 200' X 10'+. I guess I'll have to do it with smaller pieces. The 200' x 50' piece of netting has been up for around 10 years and is still good.

I saw a coyote this morning. I don't usually see them in the daylight.

Oooo, a game cam thread! Remind me to go check my 'traps'!
Here's a elk calf from last year.
These are at a friends house, something was breaking into her coop at night, it was elk try to get the grain.

I'm jealous. I get mostly pictures of coyotes.

And I get 99% deer, no coyotes! I hear them all the time, only caught one of two on my game cams in years. Same with foxes. The other 1% are those two preds, plus roaming dogs, my own cat, possums, raccoons and chickens, chickens, chickens, especially my younger Barred Rock rooster, Hector, who knows something is up with that box on the tree and loves to pose looking right at it. This morning I woke to a gag-worthy overwhelming scent of skunk wafting through my bedroom window like it was on the deck. Thankfully, my cat didn't get sprayed, but recently, I caught a a whiff out near the chicken barn, too, first time ever in over 17 years here, so maybe one day I'll catch a skunk on one of the game cams.

I did have this scrape on a tree about 10' off the driveway... is it from a buck? Was just there one day, inside the fence. Never caught other than a spike buck on any game cam here. Wish I could catch whatever made that rub for posterity!
