So...domestic cat?
...and fox, it looks spotted too?

I think everyone should have 'scale stakes' to put in the camera range.
3' foot tall stakes, painted blocks 6" tall and 6" apart?
Sure would save a lot of speculation and aid greatly in ID's.
Just an idea.

Cougar and coyote . Coyote for size reference . I looked it up and cubs loose their spots by 2 1/2 years of age . So it must be less than 2 1/2 years old .

There are cougars even in GA and TN, though most wildlife officials pooh-pooh it. Had tracks on this property next to a chicken pen a few years back (confirmed by someone who used to live in Oregon and had a mountain lion travel through her yard almost daily), then just a couple of days afterward, neighbors were asking if we'd seen the cougar. Yikes. Now, that, I'd love to catch on a game camera!

I took my older StealthCam down to my bottom lot to leave for a couple of weeks to see things I can't see closer to the house. I don't expect a cougar, of course!

I had a picture of a big cat awhile back on one of my game cameras. My computer died. I was able to recover most of the files and did have the computer fixed but can't find that picture. It was a blurry picture of a big cat and the thing I noticed was the tail was longer than a bobcat. Not long ago a friend said a big cat got some chickens not too far from us. She said it was a cougar but from my research it may have been a Florida panther. They are usually found in south Florida.
