My boy Rufus, a rock star to his hens and kind to me

My main rooster is way to nice to the ladies, and tolerates them pecking his beard out. So, unfortunately, he's not photo-worthy. His son is taking his place! This is Tiny, the tiniest chick, and one who had us fooled for a long while. He's not living still, but he grew up into a nice-looking cockerel.

Wow look at him I love the way he holds himself!

He's an all around great bird. Always on guard making sure nothing hurts his girls, fending off predators, yet docile around humans and very patient around kids. He's also a great dad for the younger chicks.
