I'm new to the duck keeping.
But have several ideas for housing my drake (hope to get him a mate soon!)

I want to build a small pond 300 gal. With a little island in the middle for his home. Now I'm in the planning stages ... but I was thinking it should look like a lighthouse or windmill. and have a water feature from it. This will all be placed under a huge Maple tree.
hmmm or maybe around it ... Now I'm thinking again ....lol

Well I would love to see what you all have come up with for your ducks?

I like the Island idea. I bought a used pond liner from a neighbor. Mine is around 500 gallons. A little small for 6 ducks, but it is working.

It is a dirt floor covered in pine bedding.
