My Estonian quail. Have four of them living on kitchen table, producing breakfasts.

Haha they live right on your table? beautiful quail, I've never heard of Estonian quail, can you tell me the difference between them and the pharaoh colored coturnix? They look similar to me but it does seem like there's something different about your quail, exotic?

There was no question for me, what breed to take. I live in Estonia Will try to get more pics of the gang over the weekend. And while I just did the egg count this morning... last 21 days: 70 eggs from 4 girls. Not bad from 'kitchen table'

Basically a line bred pharaoh from what I understand? Similar to how the Texas AM and jumbo coturnix have been made and probably not much more different from the normal coturnix than those?

Basically yes. Don't know how different is different enough for you Colour is one thing, genetics and production traits are important for me. But it is totally another topic already.

∆∆ I need to get some updated pics as my babies I hatched are two weeks old now so twice as big and most of their adult feathers through! My white one has beautiful white body but still his yellow chick fluff head! So funny!
