The USPS is going to add more sur-charges to shipping live animals. Please visit the site below and send a message to them to let them know this is an unfair practice because they are singling out on industry, live shippers.

This is crazy! It's expensive enough as it is to send or buy chicks that need to be shipped. But it's also going to hurt the business of us smaller breeders. I mail live ducklings, mostly local to New England, and it's very reasonably priced for the most part. But I know that this will add a high percentage (and possibly even cost more than the actual shipping for some of my orders) to each shipped box of ducklings.
They shouldn't do it. It's unfair not to mention the fact that I read horror stories online all the time of chicks sitting around, getting sent to the wrong place, or mistreated by USPS workers. The additional cost doesn't guaruntee they will arrive safely so whats the extra cost even going towards?

i agree with you ...they want to charge you for everything today so disgusting and sad ...i hate to see what the future brings for us all...this country is changing fast and wrong.
