Hello everyone, I am new to BYC so...I can use all the help I can get. I live in an urban area and last year I talked about getting a couple hens for eggs. I am an avid gardener for the last two years and it seemed like the next step for me. Well long story short two of my boys build me a coop for Christmas. I wasn't prepared for this, but I am willing to give this a try. I am starting from scratch here. I know nothing about raising chickens. HELP. My boys have already checked into the city ordinance and I can have up to five hens. All comments welcome.
