This was happening to me today too! Super annoying!! And a few times it would tell me I had to accept cookies to continue and I’d refresh page and it would go away, and be normal again.

For the last 1.5-2 months I have had similar stuff .. *Specifically* with the BYC APP ONLY:
click on either "envelope OR Alerts" and for a nanosecond the page list will let me choose one of the "alerts" and as soon as the onscreen keyboard shows up it vanishes. and I try to "mouse click" on the space where you write text and the keyboard will show up for just over a nanosecond then disappear again.

meanwhile I will feel the phone start to heat up as well., It has heated up quickly when I have struggled with trying to get the on screen keyboard to show up for a reply in thread.

The App also has an oddity for the "alerts" for either threads or conversations; once I select on of the updated and i'm done and want to go back to fin d the next alert. they have ALL bee flipped to "having been viewed" status.

The Apple app sucks. It has and will continue to suck for a while so don't use it.
Use the browser on apple devices. Not the app


Android app worked well but the progressive web app is better.

No. Absolutely no consistency.
On my Android 12 progressive web app and Chrome... Most of the day it was back and forth.
It would work for an hour and then it would not work for a few hours.
As of maybe 30 minutes ago it started working smoothly again.

iPhone 12 heats up and drains battery and only on BYC in Safari. I’m one of the weirdos that keeps my phone fully charged all the time.

I’m on a iPhone 7 Plus, using Safari. It was working smoothly this morning and around 4 (I think) is when I first noticed the problem. It took about 4-5 hours to start working properly again. I haven’t noticed any issues with my battery draining. As of now everything is fine and working well.
