Hey, I don't know if anyone can help, but I have about a 3 year old pot belly, female, spayed, she lives outside with my ducks, in the past few days every time I take her food out and put it in her bowl she sniffs it and sniffs it and then goes after it angrily, almost like she's attacking it and flings it everywhere! She's been eating the same thing for most her life (pellets mixed with lettuce and/or other fruits). It is the weirdest thing I've ever seen!!

Is it a new bag of pellets? Have you washed her dish with a different soap? Any new critters around?

How is her weight? Potbellies are really prone to obesity and internal fat (around the organs, as opposed to just fat under the skin) can cause a surprising number of issues.

Since this is a post bout pot belly pigs. Got my five month old today and he’s been with us for about an hour and hasn’t gone into his pig house at all. Should I be worried or will he figure it out himself

He will figure it out on his own. He has to explore and get used to his new quarters in his own time.

We have brought him inside due to us feeling terrible as he came from a pack of four to being by himself he’s currently residing in our bathroom and is really coming around even letting us touch him and give belly rubs
