Hi, can anyone give me some advice please?. I have a female that has a bald patch on her chest and is more lethargic than usual. She is usually first out and last in but isn’t interested in anything much. She’s eating and drinking. I’ve just noticed her bottom feathers are soiled but not sure what it’s supposed to look like to know if there is much of a change to the area.

Is she molting? That would cause the bald patch on her chest, and most birds act different when molting.

That’s good to know, thank you. I will keep an eye on her. Hopefully it is just her moulting. There are lots of feathers in the coop today but most of them not hers!

Yes she’s eating and drinking. they have been in the coop most of the day so I don’t know which are hers but none of them look different to normal.
