My poult keeps its mouth open like its about to gobble or yawn. Almost like its thirsty and moves its throat. I thought I might have the temp. Too high but not sure if this is why. Seems to be eating and drinking regularly. Is this normal ?

What does his stool look like. Have they been wormed. I know that a certain type of worm in the tracea will cause them to open mouth breath and seem to be gasping for air. Could be other causes I just know I have heard that come up a few times..a
,One thing I have heard and I have personally watched it take care of blackhead in a few birds as well as worms. Put cayenne pepper in the water and the food. I'm Mk of saying it is scientific but I'm saying I've seen it clear up worms with out using medications. I treat my birds regularly every other week.
I would give him that then keep an eye on him. Is the apple cider vinegar supposed to do the same thing. I know its used for fermenting food but I hadn't heard about the worms. Id be curious to know from other people if it works. I know I have seen cayenne pepper work on multiple multiple occasions.
The cider is supposed to do the same thing but if you say the pepper works ill go w that. This is my 1st turkey so I'm still learning along the way.
I put a tbsp sprinkled on top of the food and one in the water. I give them this once every other week just for preventative. I have seen it work very well. I would love to know how the acv works for people. So i hope we get people to respond regarding that. Is that why food is fermented with it? Any home remedy is the best in my opinion far over medications. I found a lot of all natural cures work better than meds. I am not a tree huger by any means. Just from a long line a farmers who take pride in their product.
