I hatched 7 poults on saturday and now they are in the brooder. One looks like its legs are really spread out and it cant really walk. What should i do to fix this problem or is there no hope?

What type of flooring do you have it the brooder it's in? They do not do well on slippery surfaces like newspaper or cardboard.
It sounds like your Poult has whats known as Spraddle Leg. This can generally be remedied if caught early on. The legs must be secured
in their natural state for a few days to a week. For a Poult many times a band aid cut lengthwise will work. Bring the legs together until they
are at the edges of the padded part of the Band Aid. Wrap the sticky part around the legs and stick them together. This keeps the legs from spreading
apart as well as going too close together.
We use rubber shelf liner you can by cheap at "The Dollar Store"" for flooring for at least the first week. Smaller breeds we use it for 2 weeks.
They are easy to change and washable to reuse...

I hope that helps...
Good luck with her,
David

The shavings may still slip around on the newspaper. Do you have an old towel or some of the rubber shelf liner to put on top of the shavings for a week or so?
Have you bound the legs together on the Poult that has spread legs? If it goes too long the legs will fuse that way.

David
