Poult screaming and running in brooder

This one poult in the bottom left corner is screaming and running back and forth. I've picked it up looked it over theres nothing obvious on the outside all the others are huddled like always under their light. I also just noticed the screaming one kinda picking at its right middle toe but there's nothing on it.

That is normally a sign of wanting attention from its "mother". The more you pick it up and hold it, the more it will continue this behavior when in the brooder.

You can try turning a radio on for them. Another thing that some people find helpful is to hang a feather duster in the brooder.

We don't handle them other than cleaning the brooder. I glance in and make sure the water and food are good thats about it.

I put a swiffer mop head in there it climbed underneath went right to sleep.
