Pretty sure my turkey has Perosis or enlarged hock disease. I can tell it makes him uncomfortable to walk around. His knees/Hocks are very big compared to the other turkeys. They’re kind of squishy too. But very swelled. He doesn’t walk around much due to this. He’s a healthy boy and eats lots and revives vitamins daily. Recently in the mornings when I open the coop, he’ll stay in there all day. I carry him outside though so he can get some grass and sunshine. Just curious if there’s any medicine out there to reduce the swelling. Like human medicine and or poultry. I know my mother has my lyrica for arthritis, but she cannot take it, was just curious is maybe he could take some? he’s a happy boy but he doesn’t get around much with his buddies cause his legs bother him. Help would be much appreciated
