Hi again,

Another paranoid question from the new girl.

I treated my hens with poultry dust two months ago. I don't even really know if they had mites/lice, they might have just been molting but I was sure they were going to die... They definitely molted after that....and..at the exact same time they stopped laying and just started again now...so...

I read you are supposed to wait a month before consuming eggs after birds treated with Poultry Dust.. so it's been two months. Should I still throw away a month's worth of eggs?

Dumb, I know.

My birds were born last February.
I guess they just had an early molt... there were other stressors here with my sister's chasey/barky dogs moving in. That situation with the chasing/barking has since calmed down a lot.

But I swear I pulled one hen up and saw some tiny grey wiggle thing near her vent and freaked... DE'd and cleaned and dusted.

I used Prozap Permethrn.

My uncle told me to use the Seven stuff but I read on here that it has changed and not to use it.

I think I just read too many different things and freak myself out.

Thanks for your help!
