Sometimes instructions make me feel so stupid. The poultry dust container says that if it contacts your skin wash for 15 to 20 minutes and call a doctor. Is that a joke? I can see wearing gloves and a mask but beyond that are they kidding? Also if the bedding and birds are dusted how long do you need to call the doctor if you touch anything in the coop?

Relax, it's just your government at work. There are labels like that on organic gardening products that you can safely eat by the spoonful.

Just use a little common sense, wash your hands, and try not to breathe the dust.

Yep, I was thinking "lawsuit protection". Wearing a light weight long sleeved shirt and jeans is a good idea though.

And hey - you won't have mites!

Really? I wore a mask, gloves, OSHA jacket, and stripped before I got in the house and put everything directly into the wash (even my shoes).

Stupid labels.
