Poultry pasture seed

I have the bad feeling that I'm going to have to put an order in with some other company. What a waste of all that time. I had all my seeds for this year picked out and a couple of tools, too. I was going to give it a couple of days, but it sounds like their computer problems are getting worse, instead of better. I bet their service people are over run with e-mails and calls right now, if their e-mail is even working. I guess I just picked the wrong time to try to order.

That's exactly what we are growing. We just planted it a few weeks ago, but I have a feeling they will really enjoy it. The chickens are loving the cover crop we have in the garden that is kinda similar.

I ordered mine this morning, along with a bunch of other seeds. I hope they are a reliable company.

They are for the most part. We ordered some seeds for our cold season crop that didn't come when they said they would (two weeks late), but right after calling to find out where the order was they shipped it the next day.

They sent me an e-mail at the end of the day, today. It said they're having problems with the shopping cart. They offered to try to access my shopping cart from there and put the order in for me, if I call them. I thought that was really nice of them. I'm going to try to do that in the morning.

We won't be planting anything outside for a long time, but I do need to get some of my things started early indoors. We just have such a short growing season here. I wouldn't mind doing a tray of this pasture mix as a treat for the chickens, while there's still snow on the ground. I'm sure the chickens would love it.

Bummer. They can't access my cart, either. They said they can take my order over the phone, if I put one together. I had 28 items, so I think that will take me a little time to figure out. They were really nice, though.

I'm thinking of ordering a poultry pasture seed mix to reseed the over-foraged area around the girls run. I found this one on line:

Does anyone have experience with this, or is there any other seed mix they can recommend? Thanks.

I just ordered some will see how it does. My yard is pretty bad so if I can get anything to grow it will be a bonus. Coastal living is tough to grow my yard is sand a fine beach sand

I went to the website to order some of this. The price was reasonable, $2.99 for 1 pack. But the shipping was outrageous - $9.65 to New Orleans. That bring the total to $12.64. That's a lot to pay for 1 pack of seeds.

I guess I'll have to pass.
