This is Olaf. He is a Favorella rooster. He loves to be held. This is him waiting for me to tell him he can sit in my lap. He is the largest chicken I have at the time but he runs for everybody even the tiny chicks. LolView attachment 1564663

Aspen: she has always been my big sweet girl!!! she was the first to lay me an egg, and I have NEVER seen her fight or peck any other chicken! she comes when you call her name, and she doesn't even flinch when you pet her or pick her up (though she seems to rather be stroked on her own 2 feet)... Kayla, you always know I'd love to show off my hens
This is Molly, a 9-year-old Silver Laced Wyandotte hen. I got her and her sister Padme (who is just as beautiful) as day-old chicks back when I was 6 or 7. Despite almost ten, she still lays once or twice a month and you can notice her healthy feathers and comb. She loves to sit on my lap as I explore BYC as long as I snuggle her every so often.

(All of these pictures were taken this spring or summer, she is currently almost out of molt and not looking her best- )

My wonderful little Cece, the one that made me realize there was more to chickens than just a use of breakfast, and that they're so much more affectionate than you'd think! She's 6-7 months and she's the snuggliest little pullet

Nova: nova is my sweet (but VERY sassy) little button hen... what makes her so special is her story.... she has been a broody girl ever since she laid her first egg. she has been broody about 10-15 times and is only 1 year old (and a few months) never had a hatch.. but the persistent little thing kept trying and trying... and I came home from school to BUTTON CHICKS!!! she is like the little red hen

Haha it's a pretty cool breed! Oh yes I'm sure but I already have 4 roosters and I'm breeding d'Uccles. I'm in Ontario.
