Good one, cluckmecoop7! Cute and catchy!
Honestly, a day in the life of a chick would probably consist of: "Ooh, what's that? What is that!? Food!? Oh, Mama! it's Mama! Hey, hey, pick me up, pick me up! No, now put me down. Dowwwwwn! Where are we going? Oooh, this looks new! Exciting! What's this, what's this? Guys, come here, lookie lookie! Lookie what I found! Oh? Did you find something? What is it? What?" ect cetra, ect cetra.

LOL!

I laughed when I saw this! I'm working on another right now!

I see a chicken fat and round,
running, running, on the ground!

I don't think that chicken could fly....
....even if it had to try!

Jogging, jogging, all around.
It's feet make a terrible pound!

I think, I think, I think I know!
WHO that chicken is, on the go!

It's CreamPuff! :lau

***This poem describes EXACTLY what she is! My silly girl! :D 😍***

Cute, funny, and well written, cluckmecoop7!
Here's one:

Small and soft
Her smooth feathers silver-spangled
She skitters
Scuttles, startled
Wings softly sigh
As she brings herself aloft

Marshmallow, cute mini
Mute and mellow
Her flight mimics
A magnificent
Mourning Dove, taking flight in the morn
Marvelous, though missing the whinny

Small and soft
Her smooth feathers silver-spangled
She skitters
Scuttles, startled
Striking the air with stretched wings
Startling the rooster -- how he screams in surprise! -- Marshmallow brings herself aloft.

Thought that I'd mess around with alliteration this time. First time doing something like this, and I enjoyed it. What do you guys think? Still no copy/paste, haha!
My Porcelain Booted Bantam is named Marshmallow. She flies really well! I have a rooster named Zapraska, and he screams or growls in alarm whenever something is airborne.
And Mourning Doves make this weird whinnying, whirring sound when they fly. That's one spot that I'm not too keen on....
Your turn, guys!

Heya, been a while.

Ahem, here you go:

Tapping at the door
Looking through the glass
They always want more...
Chickens at the door....

"Give us treats," they say
Looking through the glass
All day, every day...
"Give us treats," the chickens say....

Tapping tapping, they never stop
Looking though the glass
Each hen, bottom and top...
Tapping, tapping, the chickens never stop....

Looking through the glass
Ignoring the bug-infested grass
For a treat they nag
"Give us bread, or meat, or corn from the bag!"

And they never stop, never cease
Always there, and their ranks increase
As the guineas join, feathers gray and white
The treats they don't care for -- it's my fingers they bite!

And, so, day after day
Looking through the glass
"More treats, more treats!" they say...
My chickens nag, day after day....

No idea where this came from... my chickens do love their treats, though, and the guineas sometimes like my fingers....

Can I have a go? Hmmm... let’s see...

Chickens dancing on their toes
Sitting in the coop
when the weather snows

Then in the summer
Can’t be still!
Like school children
During a fire drill

Then when night time comes around
Chickens sleeping safe and sound
waiting for another day
Getting ready to dance and play
