That can be addressed, fill eggs with yellow dish soap for a booby trap, and perhaps raise the protein level of their feed

Sorry to be dumb - but does this mean we can upload videos direct to BYC without using a 3rd party video sharing platform like YouTube? That is a big deal!
Is it only for competitions or can we use it in threads, articles etc.?

Yes, directly to BYC and you can use it anywhere on BYC.

Not exactly like that, but I used to have this hen who would eat any eggs that were laid before she had laid, then lay her egg. I started giving the flock a lot of oyster shells and as long as she had plenty, she'd leave the other eggs alone. As soon as I slacked (or ran out) on those oyster shells, she'd be back eating every egg laid before she could lay.
