I had a rooster that chose my other rooster as his "hen." The other rooster wasn't impressed... Thankfully taking them out of quarantine and putting them in with some real hens fixed the issue.

Back a few years ago when I got this flock of "coop dwellers," the Blue Jays were doing the same exact thing. It's like they knew the new hens were terrified of them, in which they got great enjoyment from spooking them by flying low. Thankfully, the coop dwellers got used to them (and the great outdoors) after awhile.
