Poultry show/fair Sussex Co. NJ

May 16 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds. Will anyone from BYC be there? If I can get the day off from work, I'm planning on going. I'd like to be able to bring some chickens home. I'm looking for hens that are a few months old. Buff Orpington, Rhode Island Reds, Leghorns are the breeds I was thinking.

Also, any suggestions on how I bring them home, if I buy any? Do I bring the pick-up and dog crates? My husband said just put them in the trunk of the Passat! LOL

I'm going! Don't know what I'll have to trade or sell. Probably just roos! I'm bringing a big laundry basket with a screen top!
