Poultry Shows a question

Ok, back when I was in 4-H we had breeding poultry shows so I was looking into that for a friends kids. There are none in my area anymore. How would I go about getting these back into the county fairs and on the 4-H radar? I have sent an email to my local county fair association already just waiting on a replay.

If anyone has any info on how I should bout getting these show back in my area please let me know.
