Nella...hmmm I am so confused LOL But I will make a decision snappy like.

Thanks. Really I mean it. i just am so tired at this point I wanna go back to the camper and cry but I can't cause the car is still int he shop from the last giant pile of splort I stepped in.

Nella, She's looking fro full size. i sent you a pm.

Cetawin, no rush......I don't plan to sell either blue boy any time soon, nor the mottled guy. I considered keeping him as an extra, but going to keep a mille project boy instead. He is fine for now
smile.png

And far as the rest of the bantam cochins, I had not advertised any for sale prior to this.........I have been going through all the "extras" and wittling down a bit. I am a little overwhelmed by the sheer number of birds I have right now (over 100) and between having to work full time, take care of all of the dogs/cats/chickens/duck, as well as do house and outsdie projects...plus try to handle a long distance relationship....I am having to downsize a bit. I've got all my porcelain d'uccle extras going tomorrow, the last of the brahmas going Saturday......planning on spending time really figuring out what all I have left to sell and getting pix this weekend. It's a sad state of affairs when you aren't even sure how many you have left LOL. My "big flock" is fine and even getting added onto, but all of the young birds and special breeds I got planning to add pens and do some breeding are being downsized.

The only standard sized cochins I have are the two blue boys and the silver laced (boys and girls).

I have sale bantams in lots of colors (see earlier posts)....

Also willing to part with an extra pair of porcelain d'uccles if someone wanted to "prepurchase" them. I kept an extra roo just in case, but I don't have room for just in cases! LOL. Good thing I have extra girls....

Please note that she coming from out of state and it is imperative that she have some sort of sale guarantee on these birds, especially the pairs. Thank you for understanding.

Now to get the rest of its family...you know there is never just one. gggrrrrrrrrr I love all animals but I can honestly say I hate those chicken killing machines. Useless wasteful creatures.

I am always locked and cocked down here and I can assure you of this...I hit a raccoon and it does not get up. I have a M1 which is like shooting a pistol with the force of a rifle at close range....put a hole in em about the size of a co-ed softball! I used it to drop those two coyotes running through the yard here.

Okay anymore sellers? As usual, I am buying things before the swap every starts... NellaBean is a bad influence.

Well, I'm going to need some layers now.

WE got another coon and a possum this morning but not before they took out three more.

Poor JB didn't make it this time. The little murderers dug under the coop since they couldn't get in any other way!!! I moved the last two pullets in with the orps. Knock on wood the killers haven't made it in to that pen yet. I need more traps if anyone near Sadieville has some lying around.

Sorry to hear that Sarah

Hope you get them all! At the rate you are losing birds, I would probably go buy a couple traps at TSC and then get all the birds out of that coop they keep hitting....set all the traps in there with some nice smelly sardines inside or something like that. Ugh.

If you do actually end up needing layers, let me know before the swap......I have some young ladies that aren't laying yet that I would be willing to sell if you do need them. I kept them for replacement layers, but I really have more than I know what to do with, LOL. I have a blue rock (small girl, just started laying), splash rock (not yet laying), blue barred rock rooster, his favorite hen ever (a Giant/RIR hen that is laying), 2 red sex links and a splash andalusian pullet (all not yet laying). And a cochin/RIR girl (not yet laying). So not necessarily the best layers ever but should be a decent bunch.

Those birds will NOT be at the swap otherwise.....

As far as my sale list, please remove the silver laced bantams......one of us will get them

Porcelain pair can be sale pending for now.

I will get pix of the birds for sale this weekend and create a page with them that can be linked here.

I plan on building a sale crate that can fit in the bed of my truck and should allow me to bring extra birds. I am going to Vegas for labor day weekend and trying to really downsize before then

Sarah, I am serious with my offer. I will come down in camo like Rambo, locked and cocked and sit right there and wait for the little furry killers. Hell woman I have at least 200 rounds handy and it only takes 1 per critter. I got nothing but time and no hubby around to cuddle with during the night until July 31st so might as well kill your predators.

Cetawin - We'll camp out together. I want these &*@$&%(@^%$ dead. And please update, I'll only have orps and the polish/orp crosses. They will be chicks from aprox 3 weeks to 6 weeks old.

Nella - I have moved my last two pullets. I have picked up some traps but I definitely need more. Let me get this killing spree under control this week and I'll take you up on the offer. I'm not starting all over with day olds this late in the year. Hell, I got the chicks to replace my old CQs who had died off due to age. I dont' need anything fancy as long as it lays fairly regular. And a little color is nice.

I don't need any more boys though and anything you want to sell that is smooth legged, I'll be willing to take.
