Leave at 1030 get there at 11. as long as the vet is on time, it should be an in and out thing(no pun intended, i swear!) then back by noon

Sounds good to me. I can be down at your place around 9:30 - 10:00, is that good or need me there earlier?

No that will be fine. I'll have to take the kids into town to the store and get it opened then pickup the truck and come back to hook up the trailer. The foal is good with the mare, to follow I mean. Plus she's the easier one to handle as well. So loading shouldn't be a problem. it's getting in and out of the gate while leaving the other mare behind.

Man, Jeff has GOT to get the fence finished!!

Anymore critter visits?

Well I have always loved the porcelains...I thought if I ever had bantams they would be porcelains or cochins...so now I have them plus silkies. LOL

Gal...you need to give me a call when you get a chance.

Little featherfeet are addictive. You've been assimilated by them in all their forms!

I can't make the sale on the 17th. Turns out there was a commitment I missed entering onto the calendar that I can't wriggle out of

Yes and no. Nothing dead but my feed bin opened. They are wise to the traps. Must camouflage better tonight.

Maybe you should start baiting the traps with chicken feed?

I've had a few birds starting to sleep in a tree I have instead of the coop. Looks like 5 stayed out last night. I can't see where they go as it is covered in ivy and very thick....otherwise I would knock them out of the tree and make them stay in the coop......I'm lucky I haven't had any losses. Might need to bust out the ladder, flashlight and rake tonight.

What about putting hotwire around the perimeter?

Are you still interested in my birds? Since you are still having issues, the August lex trip might be a better bet for you, if so. I am still planning on coming to the sadieville swap......right now I'm going to bring as many extra boys as possible, d'uccle pairs and any leftover bantam cochin pairs.

I will be bringing 2 mille fleur cochin project cockerels. The buff columbian looking guy running in the back here (he has some white mottling starting up now as well).

Nella, Yup I'm still interested and yeah, there is chicken feed, marshmallows and sardines in there.

I think I'll have visitors tonight. It was a two day lapse last time. I'm thinking the word is spreading.......like "dude, dont' go there we lost bill sam sandy and the weird bald guy with the accent." At least I'm hoping
