Poultry/Small Animal Swap Meet - TSC Georgetown KY 9/18/10

Dang Owen Electric.... got a 5 mile long extension cord? LOL Well I may go ahead and make them and put them in a aluminum pan with cover....that should keep them warm for a bit.

Hey by the way...which danged driveway are you? On the left or the right at the foot of the bridge?

If you are driving away from the Marathon, we are on the left. The first entrance is a single gate the second entrance is a double gate slightly up the hill. That's the entrance we will be using for next Sunday cause it's easiest to drive into the field from there.

OOOOH I could get some of those "food warmer" Bunsen burner thingies! That would work, right?

That would work...Okay I will make the sweet and sour meatballs too...

Those lav pullets....they are for this boy...my pride and joy

WOW! You'll have to take a look and see. I have about a dozen lavs out now, some are promised, but I'm sure we can find some girlfriends for your boy! I'll be hatching all summer anyhow. You'll have to come take a gander at my lav roo too! I don't have any current pics of him. I haven't updated any photos cause, well I just am too lazy! LOL!

I will do that. I would love to see your lav roo. Thor is a big boy...he is over 11 lbs already and going on 9 months old. Put me down for the meatballs and fruit. I will put the meatballs in one of those huge aluminum pans and we can sit it on the grill if need be to keep it warm (after hubby is done with his burgers and such).

Sorry if I am bit late to this but I didn't know there were other Scott County folks here.

I would love to come to the swap meet to maybe find a nice pullet. The lavender ones look really beautiful, how much do they sell for if available?

We have have a small flock of 5, three older hens and two little ones who have just feathered out.

Can we come even if we don't have anything to sell? I am sorry if I sound a bit silly but I have never been to a meet up so I am pretty new at this, even though we have had chickens for almost 7 years now.

Thanks for all the help.

We would be coming down 25 towards Sadieville, how do we get to your place from G'town? Thanks.

Jennifer

Of course you can come if you are not selling anything...please do come. Coming from G'Town, take I-75 North towards Cincinnati. Take exit # 136 (Sadieville). When you get off the ramp, turn Left and cross back over I-75, continue past the Marathon gas station on the right and you are going to be coming downhill at a pretty good grade. You will cross the creek at the bottom and it will be the second driveway on the left. It will be a double gate going into a field. if you come to the white house on the left, you just past it.

(Don't worry about the exit numbers...you will hit exit #129 and the next one is #136.)

Here is my cell number in the event you get lost and need some help 859-327-5076.
