When are you picking them up? Should I save the black silkie chick for you?

Tenatively, the last weekend of this month...the 25th ish. I am still trying to work around DHs schedule, Chy's schedule with her Sax Camp and her Basic Training with the Cadet Corp. *pulling on my hair ends*

I would like to be able to come down and visit you (coming or going), go to Cyn's and visit with her maybe spend the night and share the daybed with her Dog and then head back. But, I have to have DH or Chy here to get away with being gone 2 days because of the birds, ducks and dogs...especially with the babies. They cannot be left alone that long without question. Sooooooooo that is the tentative plan.

As for black silkie...woot hang on to him/her for me for the moment...if plans change or we cannot hook up, then you can rehome the cutie but I would love to have the little one. But man that little Cochin and your babies are a mess..spoiled already, especially the cochin and the Millies. The cochin just cries and cries until I take her out of the cage and put her on the TV tray in front of the window. She wants to sit there all day and until bedtime. hahahaha

Let me know when you have confirmed plan. Timing could be delicate...

Never doubted that the millies would be spoiled.
But letting the cochin play on the dinner table?

She has her own little towel she sits on. She is really really a mess. To this she came from a stall with a bunch of other babies and all she wants is to be sitting on her table or for you to hold her. She realy is a love.

I can get a black silkie local if you want to rehome that one...it is up to you, just let me know because scheduling this trip is going to be tricky to say the least.

Nope, she's such a total surprise that I hate to miss out on what she's grows into!

I say timing is delicate because we may be going out of town on the 29th or 30th. Not entirely sure yet. Partially depends on whether our chicken-sitter is forced out of town by her hubby...

I hope to come if you get another one scheduled. Had planned to try for the last one but had a family emergency. The last two weeks have been so hectic that I don't even know for sure what I have now in the way of chicks--lost some to the heat because I wasn't able to be here to take care of them as they needed. I had been taking them outside each day before my sister fell ill.
I may have met some of you at other swaps and am looking forward to reconnecting and to new connections!
