The truth about chickens

Or any animal, infact
Many people assume
Because they cluck and they groom
What life could they have?
It’s easy to presume
No animal is hard
And no animal is easy
It’s how you put in the love
to care, and to hold. To walk them everyday
Seeing them run, or jumping up to play
It’s easy to take for granted
And it’s easier to say
“I’ll do it tomorrow, that’s when i’ll show them love.”
But its harder to say
you’re regrets
When they’re gone
….When they’re gone….
Eyes full of tears

And heart full of sorrow.

Petals will blow

But this time, there’s no tomorrow.
