@ HenOnA... Thanks. This is helpful. I already own the batteries since I use them in our large boat. I always carry a spare which could easily be taken out when the boat isn't in use.

Then you are good to go. I don't know what power your incubator draws, but inverters can be had very cheap at Walmart and Harbor Freight Tools ($10-30), and a charger that costs $25-30 should do the trick.

Sunday was supposed to be "hatch" day. I had 6 hatch on Sunday. One died shortly after that. Today 15 more have popped out. Five or six of them have very splayed legs but the others appear healthy. I am going to keep the lid on the 'bator for another day and see what happens.
