Found at home depot, lowes, walmart, sometimes target, and if you live in the northern climates (where people ice fish) then you can find them at sporting goods stores (Dick's, Sportsman's Warhouse, BassPro, Cabela's, etc.).
The little propane tanks are very cheap and last for 10+ hours of continuous running in below zero temps. Another option for others that might find this thread later
I wouldn't use it for the brooder heater permanently, but in a pinch it would keep the room and/or brooder warm.
