Day 3 of incubating goose eggs and the power got knocked out by the wind. How long before the eggs are damaged? The incubator is in a pretty warm room and I replaced the plug. Its down to 80 degrees and the water wiggler is at 100. I'm so worried!

I had two nights of power outage. My incubators got down to 75 one night. That was day 6 and 7. Im on day 22 and candled last night. 18 out of the 24 eggs look good. Threw the 6 out this morning. Im sure you will be okay as long as it doesn't last for a day.

Cover your incubator with blankets! We lost power 6 times in the past month and I've had temps go down as low as 77. I only lost 2 out of 20 eggs. Also, call your power company for an estimation of how long the power will be out.

It ended up only being about 2 hours, the temp on the water wiggler was stable but I'm still creeping back up from 80 degrees in the bator. It's at 98 now...

Thanks everyone for the helpful tips, I feel more prepared now if it happens again. hope not
