What is the swap meet exactly and where is Powhatan located?

A swap meet is where people sell and trade birds and small animals.
Powhatan is located between Charlottesville and Richmond. I included the address so you can mapquest it.

It is still on May 9th at Tractor Supply in Powhatan.

We're in Bedford County and thinking of heading down on the 9th to check it out. First time at a chicken swap. Is this one usually pretty active/busy.

Kim the past 2 times it has been a really good swap. Lots to choose from and one guy even brought lambs, goats, mini donkey and horse, llamas etc.

i went to the one in april at tsc in powhatan, and it was a lot of fun!

we bought several chickens, all of which we are very pleased with!

oh, and does anyone know if there will be somebody selling local organic feed?

i'd love to buy some home grown organic layers feed!

and someone had the most adorable puppies there in april! i wanted to get every last one!
